Project Description

As part of a project conducted by Golder Associates in collaboration with Brantwood Consulting, David developed a suite of performance-based green financing strategies that the City of Edmonton could offer to residents who are buying, building or renovating a home, multifamily building, or commercial/office building.  Instead of just offering rebates on appliances, the incentives were to be paid based on an increase in the Energuide or Ashrae Rating of the Building.  The cost per tonne of CO2 of each measure was calculated both to the City and to the building owner/operator.
