Project Description

In collaboration with Urban Food Strategies, we worked with the Greater Vancouver Food Bank to assess the business feasibility and then to help launch a mobile food market that improves access to healthy food in lower income neighbourhoods in Metro Vancouver.  The market operates 20 weeks per year at 5 locations per week.  As part of the project, we interviewed a number of mobile food markets across North America as well as some  pocket markets in the British Columbia lower mainland.
