Project Description

In collaboration with the Holland Barrs Planning Group and Eric Lees and Associates, we completed an assessment of the potential for residents of a large, sustainable real estate development project in Vancouver to grow a significant portion of their food on site.  Because this real estate development was to be located fairly close to the Granville Island Public Market, a section of the report dealt with the opportunity for some foods grown at this development to be sold through the public market.  The report also examined the potential for and costs associated with establishing an incubator food processing facility and food artisan training centre in or near the development.
