Project Description
Greenchain Consulting and Sustainability Ventures are currently working on a business plan for Yellowstone Valley Food Hub Co-op. The food hub has been in the discussion phase for the past few years and challenged with how to launch, at what scale and how to develop over the first few years. The project team were specifically selected to help them identify realistic strategies to address these challenges. Additional to engaging with the local growers and understanding the local market, the project team brought years of experience working with small food hubs as well as researching other similar food hubs to provide the hub with a realistic 3-year business plan. The team also over came two major challenges for the growers, how to collaborate and what other food providers were needed to make it a success.
