Project Description

In association with Integrity Systems Inc, assessed the economics of on-farm food production, the economics of sustainable community food processing, and the economics of sustainable community food distribution and retailing.  The study addressed on-farm processing facilities, mobile processing facilities, and centralized processing. It also specifically addressed alternative retail channels such as farm gate sales, farmers markets, home delivery firms, CSAs, food buying clubs, and public food markets.
